Neuropsychology is a specialty profession that evaluates brain function and behavior.
Brain function is evaluated by objectively testing attention, concentration, memory, higher level thinking skills, motor and perceptual skills. Psychological assessment, too, is often a component of a comprehensive Neuropsychological evaluation.
Results of a detailed assessment is used for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
